Sermorelin is a peptide analogue of growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH) a naturally occurring hormone that is made in the hypothalamus and controls the production of growth hormone (GH) Nobel Laureates R. Guilleman and A Shalley discovered that GHRH is important for growth and development. In the 1970s, William Wehrenberg, one of their students, started studying which part of the GHRH molecule was essential for stimulating the pituitary gland.

About Semorelin

Wehrenberg found that only the first 29 amino acids are needed for the pituitary gland to make GH. Semorelin is made up of 29 essential amino acids, which form a short polypeptide chain that is considered one the shortest functional parts of the GHRH molecule. A one-step chromatographic method was used to separate all isomers of polyethylene glycol (PEG) from naturally occurring GHRH.

In vitro cultures of rat pituitary cells showed that sermorelin had biological effects. Sermorelin was found to be the most potent GHRH analog. Studies have also shown that synthetic GHRH analogues are more effective than the naturally occurring hormone.

Sermorelin is now a standard test for growth hormone secretion and is mainly used for children who don't make enough GH and don't grow well. It has a secondary use in "repairing" declining GH levels, which is a natural side effect of aging that leads to weight gain, decreased strength and muscle mass, and insomnia in elder subjects. Sermorelin can help humans get their GH levels back to youthful levels.

Effects:

Sermorelin has many benefits. Sermorelin helps the body make more growth hormone, but it's not a way to inject growth hormone itself. Sermorelin has a lot of benefits that make it a powerful and valuable substance.

Side Effects:

Sermorelin can cause a lot of side effects, but most of the time they are mild. Semorelin can have side effects and is not risk-free, but a healthy adult can reduce these risks and many people will find no negative effects at all.

The most common side effects (about 17% of all cases) are pain, swelling, or redness at where the injection was given. These side effects usually don't need medical attention. Itching and trouble swallowing are less common problems. As with any peptide, people can get allergic to it. During treatment with sermorelin, many patients develop antibodies to a hormone called growth hormone. But it is not known if these antibodies are important. They do not seem to affect growth or cause side effects. In less than 1% of cases, people reported feeling dizzy, flushed, having a headache, being too active, or feeling tired. The use of semorelin could also reduce the risk of hypertension, stroke, aneurysm/heart attack, heart and kidney failure, and vision changes or loss.

Studying rats, rabbits, and pigs has shown that it can harm the babies of pregnant women. There have been no studies about this product and its risks in human females who are pregnant or trying to become pregnant and it is not known if sermorelin is released in mammalian breast milk. Using alcohol, tobacco, or other medications with certain products may cause certain unwanted interactions to happen. If you have other medical problems, this product may not work well for you, so always talk to your doctor before using it.We don't know if sermorelin can cause cancer in humans or animals, but we haven't heard of any cases of cancer caused by it.

Dosage:

Sermorelin is a small white powder that can be mixed with water or medical grade saline solution to make it stronger. Keep the powder in a dark place or at room temperature. The medicine is injected into the fat below the skin with a small needle, like a diabetic would use to get their insulin shot.

Sermorelin must be kept in the refrigerator and out of light. Before using, check the liquid for particles or discoloration. If they are found, throw away the solution.  Like most peptides, once you take too much of a peptide, it stops making growth hormone. This happens because the body's natural way of keeping hormone levels stable. This high dose is usually around 100mcg.
