Equipoise "only" cycle possible?

Any AAS can be used alone, but when it comes to a steroid that has aromatizing properties, like EQ, then using it alone is almost certain to bring about a state of low test.

It's still a high-risk to use EQ without the addition of external testosterone in the cycle, even though its mild testosterone suppressive effect is comparable to that of some of the more potent steroids.

Therefore, no matter what the experience level is, you should be pairing at least with a testosterone steroid rather than using it alone.

Kick in time for Equipoise

In three to four days, Equipoise reaches its peak concentration in the blood. This is due to the long half-life of this steroid and its slow release ester, which can take up to three weeks for the hormone to fully enter the body.

Some users will choose to stop using EQ for the remaining weeks of a cutting cycle while continuing with non-aromatizing steroids to eliminate all fluid retention. Equipoise excels at preserving lean muscle, which is why it's so sought-after for cutting.

One of the drawbacks to using Equipoise for cutting however is the way it can boost your appetite, but this only occurs in some people. So a first time user of EQ would need to evaluate its impact on appetite before using it.

Obviously, during a cutting cycle you don't want a huge boost in appetite, and if this is the case you need to weigh up the pros and cons of using this particular steroid during cutting cycles. Since it is often used only at the start of a cutting cycle, the appetite increase may not have a particularly negative impact on your final results.
