The powerful anti-estrogen anastrozole belongs to the family of inhibitors of aromatases. This is perhaps the most commonly used artificial intelligence and one of the most common anti-estrogens on the market, developed in the early 1990's by Zenaca Pharmaceuticals and released in 1995 under the trade name Arimidex. The effectiveness of Arimidex in the treatment of breast cancer is far superior to that of the traditional Nolvadex (Tamoxifen Citrate), and it's a favorite anti-estrogen among those taking anabolic steroids. Numerous users of anabolic steroids rely on Arimidex for continual protection against estrogenic effects. Some of the most commonly associated side effects of anabolic steroids can be caused by the ability of many anabolic steroids to aromatize and produce excessive estrogen.

Characteristics

Although powerful, Arimidex's functions and characteristics are remarkably straightforward. Arimidex functions as an artificial intelligence by blocking the aromatase enzyme, which is responsible for the production of estrogen. The body's serum estrogen levels will be decreased by Arimidex's inhibition of the aromatase process; in fact, a total suppression of estrogen by 80% has been observed with this artificial intelligence. The increase in estrogen levels can lead to gynecomastia and excess water retention. Excessive water retention can lead to elevated blood pressure. There are not all anabolic steroids that can lead to estrogenic related effects. However, many common steroids do have the ability to promote estrogenic activity, including Dianabol, all forms of Nandrolone and Boldenone, and all forms of testosterone heavily.

Anabolic steroid cycles that contain aromatizing steroids can protect against gynecomastia and water retention by including Arimidex. Furthermore, this will safeguard against elevated blood pressure. Heavy water retention is the main culprit of high blood pressure among users of anabolic steroids, even though some steroids still cause it. Without a doubt, artificial intelligences like Arimidex are the most effective anti-estrogens for combating estrogen related side effects. SERMs like Nolvadex, while not as effective, can be useful and should be the first choice when possible. Arimidex is a testosterone stimulating compound, which can be appealing for low testosterone treatment plans and for Post Cycle Therapy (PCT) for anabolic steroid users. Low testosterone treatment is often not enough in the case of low testosterone treatment. It's still useful when paired with testosterone injections to guard against estrogenic side effects. Regarding PCT usage, some will attempt it, and it may have a positive impact, but it's not generally recommended. PCT plans are designed to stimulate natural testosterone production in order to protect lean muscle tissue, keep body fat under control and promote a better state of health. However, the overall purpose is normalization, which cannot be achieved when using Arimidex post cycle due to the tremendous estrogen reduction. Some levels of estrogen are necessary for proper bodily function, especially regarding the immune system and cardiovascular health. For the anabolic steroid user, AI should be saved for on cycle use and SERM should be used for PCT.

Side Effects

There are several possible negative effects associated with Arimidex. Many of the side effects of Arimidex will be response related. Many of the side effects will be response related. Due to possible cholesterol concerns, moderate anabolic steroid cycles may be better served with SERMs to guard against estrogen-related negative effects. SERMs like Nolvadex have been shown to promote healthy cholesterol levels due to their ability to act as estrogen in the liver. For many, a SERM won't be enough and AI's will be necessary. The person should only use what's actually needed if an artificial intelligence is necessary. Taking 10 mg of Nolvadex daily with your Arimidex use may actually help with cholesterol control, according to some.

Administration

The treatment of breast cancer typically involves a daily dose of 1 mg of Arimidex until the disease disintegrates. At this stage, use may continue for a time and will often be switched to Nolvadex as a preventative measure once the cancer is in remission.

The average Arimidex dosage for anabolic steroids users is between 0.5 and 1mg every other day. Few people need more than 1mg every two days, and many will be perfectly content with half that amount.
