Purpose of Arimidex by Xeno Labs
Arimidex is used to treat breast cancer in women after menopause. It works by reducing the amount of estrogen in the body and slowing or stopping the growth of breast cancer.
Arimidex’s estrogen-lowering function is very desirable to anabolic steroid users, as excess estrogen levels can cause unwanted side effects like breast growth (gyno) and water retention.
Arimidex helps people who use steroids to lower their levels of estrogen, which can cause side effects.
Is Arimidex an Estrogen Blocker?
Arimidex blocks the aromatase enzyme, which is a key part of the estrogen biosynthesis process. Without this enzyme, the production of estrogen can stop. SERMs block estrogen receptors in a selective way.
Both are like estrogen blocks in some ways. Arimidex and other aromatase inhibitor drugs work on a much bigger scale than SERM drugs, which only affect certain parts of the body.
Can taking Arimidex cause weight gain?
Arimidex is not known to cause weight gain, either for women who use it for breast cancer or men who use it for estrogen control when they take steroids. It's not known why people gain weight while taking Arimidex for cancer treatment.
Hair Loss with Arimidex?
Arimidex and other hormone treatments can cause hair loss in women. But it is not a known side effect for male steroid users who use Arimidex. Many anabolic steroids can cause hair loss or male pattern baldness.
Lowering natural testosterone production?
Arimidex can increase testosterone levels and lower estrogen levels. This is why the drug is sometimes used to treat low testosterone in men in place of hormone replacement therapy.
Studies have shown that Anastrozole increases the amount of serum testosterone in elderly men with mild hypogonadism. Results show that testosterone levels can go back to normal while at the same time going down slightly.
Arimidex and raising natural testosterone production?
Arimidex is sometimes used instead of testosterone replacement therapy for men who don't have enough.
Studies have shown that aromatase inhibitors are not really effective at raising testosterone levels in low-testosterone men. When you take anabolic steroids, your body will be in a low testosterone state.
Arimidex can boost testosterone, but it's not strong enough to fight low testosterone. This is why it's not often used in PCT cycles.
Kick in time for arimidex by Xeno Labs?
Arimidex works quickly and lasts between 30 to 60 hours. Even though this, it can take some time for the drug to build up in the blood plasma to reach its peak level, and this can take about a week.
However, studies have shown that Arimidex can reduce estrogen levels in women by 70% within 24 hours when taken as directed by a doctor. After 14 days, estrogen levels had gotten 80% lower. The circulating estrogen levels stayed this low for up to 6 days after Arimidex.
Stress on the liver?
People with existing liver problems might find that Anastrozole makes their condition worse. This is usually a problem when women are using the drug long-term for cancer treatment.
Anastrozole can cause liver damage, and this is the case with almost any type of oral medication.
If you use Arimidex and are worried about how it affects your liver, ask your doctor to check your liver function and look for signs of jaundice or dark urine. This can indicate liver damage.
